Q: How does your style fit in with the styles of the Valley?
A: Anyone who can incorporate the same essential pieces into their wardrobe when lounging on a rainy day, having lunch with friends or wearing those pieces to work on a casual Friday is how I fit into the Valley.

Q: Style icon?
A: Kerry Washington as Olivia Pop, as well as my mom and aunts (her sisters)

Q: Your style in one word or phrase?
A: Feminine, sophisticated and soft (my take on Olivia Pope) with a little bit of timeless, Western feel that I get from my family – think Ralph Lauren.

Q: Top three wardrobe staples?
A: The best blue jeans you can find, white blouse and a great pair of cowboy boots

Q: Addicted to buying?
A: Being an elementary school teacher, I’m addicted to buying versatile cardigans that I can wear any day of the week. I also love big, polished work bags.

Q: Most prominent color in your wardrobe?
A: White, creams, blush pink or gray

Q: Store you can always find something in?
A: The Limited, LOFT and then local stores like Showroom 56 and Beads and Baubles

Q: An item you’d love to splurge on if you had the money to do so?
A: A Movado watch or anything Tory Burch to go along with my recent purchase of a light oak bag

Q: Trend you want to try?
A: My sister totally rocks this urban-athletic style. Nike should totally hire her as a model. I would love to try her style one day. It takes confidence.

Q: Fashion trend you wish you never followed?
A: I love how skirts are coming back and I love my UGGs but I would never combine them like I used to.

Wearing now: Hudson jeans, The Limited blouse, kate spade bracelets, Nine West shoes, Daniel Wellington watch
