Q: How does your style fit in with the styles of the Valley?
A: I would like to think my style fits in with the area while holding on to some metro NY roots. I try to keep the closet simple, on trend, without going too crazy.
Q: Style icon?
A: Daniel Craig (James Bond). I find the styles in most 007 movies to be casual cool. He was inspiration for my wedding attire as well.
Q: Where do you get your style or fashion knowledge from?
A: Mostly from the internet and Men’s Health magazine. When working at the WBS Penguins games, the players in the team suite are are dressed up so I get trendy suit ideas from them too.
Q: Top three wardrobe staples?
A: Jeans, sneakers and always my gold cross/chain
Q: Addicted to buying?
A: I would say shoes are the one thing I spend the most time picking out. I am a mannequin shopper so I spend zero time looking at the racks. Shoes I will actually try every brand, size, style until I find the perfect fit.
Q: An item you would love to splurge on if money weren’t a concern?
A: 40mm Platinum Rolex with a black face
Q: Most prominent color in wardrobe?
A: I stay color neutral – lots of greys. I can be totally fine with white or grey t-shirt with jeans but I also mix in shades of blue as well.
Q: Fashion pet peeve?
A: Cut off sleeves
Q: Trend you want to try?
A: Honestly, I am just now getting used to a more fitted jean so I think I’m making progress towards a “slim” fit. I am usually on the tail end of most trends so anything I try is probably yesterday’s fashion.
Q: Fashion trend you wish you never followed?
A: No lie, I did rock the JNCO Jeans for a hot minute but soon abandoned that style within a month. Google it. Don’t judge.
